Fourty years of Horticulture

Fourty years of Horticulture

Robert started his career as an apprentice Gardener for the local parks department under the watchful eye of the late Jim Tigwell. Jim was very much of the old school, everything had to be dead straight rows, level and equally spaced. Whilst working on the parks Robert gained a strong interest in plants in particular shrubs and herbaceous and after five years embarked upon a solo career maintaining gardens and carrying out landscaping for both domestic and commercial clients. In fourty years he has acquired a vast knowledge of how to lay out new gardens with both hard and soft landscaping, management of existing landscapes, conservation work and production of plants
